Side note: the Born This Way loose powder is a lovely option if you don’t want something too matte or drying. I do set this with the Too Faced Born This Way loose powder which likely does help it last! I like to pair the two Too Faced products together for a flawless finish as they work so nicely together.

I completely agree with Too Faced that this is a long wearing concealer – it remains full coverage four hours and looks nice for a whole day. The Born This Way concealer can crease on me a little, but it is not so bad and for someone who has been really self conscious about my under eye area, this one is such a dream! Whenever this does crease a little bit, I can easily tap this out with my finger to make it smooth again thanks to its natural (not matte) finish. I can suffer with under eye creasing and certain concealers make this a lot worse.

It provides me with full coverage without looking dry or heavy, which is amazing! I have normal to dry skin so sometimes makeup products can look cakey or dry, OR can actually dry my skin out more. I have mine in the shade ‘Snow’ which is a light shade with a yellow undertone to brighten.Īs I mentioned, I have been using this Born This Way concealer for months on an almost daily basis. This concealer is £25 for 15ml – so although it is a little pricey, you get much more product than you do with other concealers. Too Faced claim that the formula is weightless and hydrating so the skin is never dry or cakey, and is long wearing (12 hour wear).

This concealer has a diamond shaped doe foot applicator as you can see from the pictures.īorn This Way concealer is oil free and non-comedogenic. Too Faced claim this will give you a hydrated, photo ready complexion thanks to the maximum coverage and undetectable flawless finish. The Born This Way super coverage concealer is marketed as as multi use product for concealing, highlighting, contouring and retouching. But it turns out that this quickly has become my favourite concealer and something I will 100% repurchase time and time again. I purchased this months ago as so many friends love it – I was a little nervous as the Too Faced Born This Way foundation (which I reviewed on my blog a while ago) isn’t one of my favourites (although I love it to mix in with a matte foundation). However, today I am wanting to share with you my review of the Too Faced Born This Way super coverage concealer – a product I have been meaning to review for quite some time now. Still looking for that elusive no-makeup makeup concealer? You might just have found it.Hey everyone, wow I have been pretty absent on the blog lately and I am so sorry about that! Christmas planning and Christmas work schedule has definitely been taking up my time (I can’t believe it’s Christmas TOMORROW!). It also makes the product smell like a tropical vacation (yes, please). Lastly, this stuff contains coconut water (like the brand's Hangover Primer, which I also love), so the formula doesn't stick to dry patches on the skin. It offers medium coverage, but easily layers for more opacity without veering into cake-face territory. On most days, I'll slick a few lines in the center of my forehead, down the bridge of my nose, around my nostrils, under my eyes, and on my chin before blending with a foundation brush. Not bad!ĭuring the month I've been wearing this concealer, it's become the first thing I reach for in my makeup bag. But when I caught a glimpse of myself in a window, my coverage was entirely intact (save for a bit of wear around my nose, where I get the most redness). When I got off the bus, I expected my concealer to have melted off my face. (Urban Decay's has a more airbrushed finish.) As you blend it into your skin, the product seemingly disappears, leaving a veil of coverage that masks imperfections but still looks (and feels!) like actual skin.ĭon't believe me? Let me give you an example: Last weekend, I took a six-hour bus ride to celebrate the Fourth of July with my boyfriend's family.

As its name suggests, it actually makes you look like you were born with an even complexion.

But Born This Way is completely different. Now, don't get me wrong - I still love my UD Naked Skin. Then, I discovered Too Faced's Born This Way concealer. I thought I had found "the one." I was monogamous and committed.

Last year, I discovered Urban Decay's Naked Skin. The third point is where things get tricky. The first two aren't too hard to come by - there are dozens of creamy, high-coverage formulas on the market. They need to A) effectively cover blemishes, redness, and hyperpigmentation B) blend effortlessly and C) look and feel like skin. I expect a lot from my foundation and concealer.
